Hypnotic Control was originally established by William Blair, but the group lost momentum after he left CNU. The name was transferred from his group and it was re-founded and made into a new group in the spring of 2012 by CNU student Stephanie Delneky. Delneky wanted to bring CNU's hip hop club back to life and inspire others with the same passion she has for hip hop.
The aim of Hypnotic Control is not only to provide entertaining performances to the CNU community but to enhance members' hip hop skills. Hypnotic Control focuses on stage presence, intricate choreography, team work, and elite freestyle skills. We welcome men and women of all levels of dance experience and encourage anyone interested in being a member of our team to contact our email with any questions!
Hypnotic Control practices weekly on Mondays and Thursdays at 9:00 PM in the Freeman Multipurpose Room #2.
